Femtosecond stimulated Raman microscopy (FSRM) is a novel imaging technique developed in our lab. We presently use it to investigate static and dynamic properties of polymers. In the course of this, we observed photo-damages of some samples caused by the FSRM light source (marked circles in top panel). Modifications of this light source turns the instrument polymer friendly (lower panel).
